About me

Hi everyone,

my name is Berta and I'm a Personal Trainer and Fitness Blogger.

I'm a Spanish girl living in London.

If I look back at my spanish office job life I see nothing but tiredness, boredom, stress and anxiety. I've always been a fitness enthusiast, but the busy schedule and the and the frustrating deadlines ended killing my passions.

I desperately wanted to change my life. I wanted to go back in time to that point were I could still cultivate my passion for sport. Suddenly, the enlightenment! To go back in life I had to move forward. So, with a suitcase full of courage, I left the old life behind and moved to London. I was looking for a change and I can say that I've found it.

The challenges weren't over and life didn't suddenly become easy, but but my approach to it had totally changed. My batteries were now charged with new motivation.

Taking advantage of the inertia of the positive moment I was experiencing, I got my diploma Premier Global NASM Level 2 and 3 Gym instructor and Personal Trainer. Not long after I decided to specialize in Pre and Post Natal Exercise and Nutrition.

With a bit of pride I can say that I have helped many women to have a healthy and fit pregnancy.

The message I've learned through my personal experience is that body care has tremendous effects on your mood, mindset and anxiety control. The aesthetic reasons are just the tip of the iceberg of what fitness can do.

I would love to share my knowledge you with. To motivate you. To guide you through your fitness journey.

PERSONAL TRAINING 1to1

Whether you’re training for an extreme event, recovering from injury or simply want to tone-up and shift some weight. 

CLASSES

If you want to tone-up, improve your stamina, strength, coordination, lose weight or simply have some fun with friends, I run different classes up to 12 people.

PRE and POST NATAL

Support to your pregnancy journey. The days when pregnancy was seen as a disease are over. I also speak from personal experience having been pregnant myself.

WEDDING PACKAGE

I will design a tailored fitness plan and support (you both) throughout the journey that will take you to the Big Day. I will work with you to make you look and feel your best for your wedding.

This package is not exclusively designed for newlyweds, but can also be used for bridal group classes up to 6 people.

My Pregnancy

I was now the client of myself

When I found out I was pregnant I was super happy...until I realised I WAS PREGNANT!

My pregnancy was planned, but still, it was a shocking news.

After helping countless women through their journeys, it was now my turn.

I had to apply all my knowledge on myself. Be the client and the trainer. Easy to say but.

I promised to myself to do everything in my power to have a fit and healthy pregnancy. As a personal trainer my goal was to keep my shape as much as I could and keep up with my training.

During my journey I've gained 8kg, and at the end of it I delivered a wonderfull little girl.

 

I consider myself as a lucky person, and if truth to be told, mine was a very low risk pregnancy so I could keep training until the labour. However, we cannot hope that luck will do everything for us. The best thing for you is to keep yourself as active as possible. There are plenty of exercises that can be safely performed during the pregnancy.

 

The days that pregnancy is seen as a disease are gone. Exercise is not just my advise, it is strongly recommended by doctors.
